Potential Birthday Sushi Places
Sushi Jin (Silver Spring)
The first place I've considered is a place in downtown Silver Spring called Sushi Jin. I've only looked inside of it and grabbed a menu but it looks pretty cool in there. The lighting is low and there are tables along with a bar to sit at. They even have cool lanterns. The regular sushi rolls range from 3.50 to 8.95 while the specialty rolls go up to 14.95 because of ingredients like eel and shrimp. I've considered this place because it's close to my school and easy to access by bus.Wasabi Sushi (Farragut North/West)
The second place I've considered is a place in DC off of the Farragut North or Farragut West metro stop. I've not seen it in person, but I've looked at their website and read that they have a conveyor belt for serving sushi. A conveyor belt! I've only seen those in anime, and didn't know they were real so that's a real plus for me. They calculate your tab by the color of the plates you've eaten off of since different plate colors have different prices ($2-$5). However, it is about 20 minutes away from my school by metro and doesn't seem to have enough space for a group if I were to bring five or more of my friends.
Sushiko (Friendship Heights)
The third place I've considered is a place off of the Friendship Heights metro stop. Once again, I've only done internet research on this place, but it sounds good. While they have nothing as fancy as a conveyor belt, they do have space for a large group and the price range isn't that bad different from Sushi Jin. However, the entree's are expensive, depending on what you order, going up to $27 for the ones with several types of expensive fish. It is about 20 minutes away from my school by metro.

If you guys have any other ideas, let me know so I can look into them. I've been holding out on eating sushi so that it's more special when my birthday comes, so I can't wait!
Stay abso-foodie-licious!
